Qualified candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of Bionova’s CDMO service business within the Northeast market. Duties will include: developing sales opportunities and representing the company to key stakeholders and decision makers; serving as the primary business contact for existing and potential customers; closing contracts for development and manufacturing services to expand the product portfolio. This position will be remote with the candidate located in the greater Boston area and representing the CDMO facility in Fremont, CA.
Identify targets and opportunities with all relevant Biologic/Biopharmaceutical companies in the territory.
Develop and execute a sales plan for the territory.
Close opportunities with new clients and generate increased business with existing customers.
50% travel within territory and to support industry tradeshows/conferences and customer site visits.
Ability to represent the company to high level stakeholders at multiple points of contact within customer organizations; and to develop strong business relationships with key industry players.
Strong analytical ability, technical writing, and detailed knowledge of mammalian cell culture and purification of recombinant proteins.
Expertise in biopharmaceutical development, manufacturing, CMC submissions for biologic applications and regulatory requirements for production of human therapeutics.
Minimum 5 years of experience acquiring and developing accounts and driving top line revenue growth with technical business-to-business sales in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science field. MBA, or Life Science M.S./PhD is a plus.
Ability to work remotely and remain accountable to meeting business objectives and maintaining timely communications.

Well established industry relationships and extensive contact list is preferred
