Member of team with occasional role as line representative on a process development team.
Frequently executes complex experiments in a team setting with daily interaction with the team.
Capable of analysis of complex data on frequently encountered problems.
Has discretion in tactical execution of experiments and analysis.
This position will be responsible for leading a team of scientists in the Cell Line Development at the lab level.
This position performs professional planning, coordination, analysis and reporting of various project work according to Bionova Scientific guidelines and project management strategies.
This position will direct, coach and mentor staff members as well.
Duties & Responsibilities
Hands on Execution of cell line development activities.
Oversee Junior technician for CLD activities.
The development of a new cell line platform.
Write and review protocols, technical reports.
Conduct root cause investigations and identify solutions to resolve CLD development related. issues.
Master or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology or other relevant life science disciplines with more than 4 years' relevant industry experience.
In-depth knowledge in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture performance is required.
Experience in developing CLD activity is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multitask and manage multiple projects.
Ability to independently and rapidly make decisions based on data, scientific knowledge, and sound judgment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
